have been the location for innumerable films and TV series,
notably the 1970 version of The Railway Children.
Leeds: Big city shopping and
big city attractions; Royal Armouries; West Yorkshire Playhouse.
Saltaire: World Heritage Site.
Sir Titus Salt’s model village and giant woollen mill,
now housing a splendid David Hockney Gallery and interesting
shops.
Skipton: Thriving historic
country town with well preserved medieval castle, and canal
boat trips.
